Reception: Sadia and Yusha

After a small ceremony at home on Saturday, we arrived for Sunday’s reception at the Fountainhead in New Rochelle. After Friday’s beautiful Sangeet, we were not at all surprised by the beautiful decor for the reception, nor Sadia’s gorgeous gown.

Friday we photographed Sadia and Yusha’s Sangeet at Akbar. We really had quite an amazing team of vendors working together to put the event on, and it was an incredibly beautiful Holud.

I just finished a new album design from Elissa and Brian’s wedding, and I’m thinking about making it a sample. Some of my favorite spreads are here, and the rest are available for viewing on the album design blog.

The Way Back Machine

Also known as, a trip down Memory Lane… I laugh as I look at the past of my photography business. Sorry about the broken images. I have no control over what the Way Back Machine remembers! Obviously, the first sites were all Britney Photography before I changed my business name to Turn Loose the Art.
My website as of October 2003, which is the first time the Way Back Machine archived my site.

September 2007 – it appears none of the archives were with images during this entire time period, and the wbm really doesn’t like the bludomain sites

I started the Turn Loose the Art site for just portraits. The first archive is October 2006

August 2007 – the Into the Darkroom website also didn’t work so well with WBM

A Poughkeepsie Wedding

Sometimes, there’s just a little extra pressure at a wedding. You know, like when both the bride and groom are also wedding photographers! Elissa and Brian met at WPPI two years ago and married this past Saturday, and I was honored to photograph their day. So yes, this is a monster of a blog post… for two photographers! (more photos added at end 8.49pm monday)
