Wedding
After marrying several weeks ago in Hawaii, John and Erin threw a party for everyone here in Southern California at the Aquarium of the Pacific. I just met them tonight, so other than a few peeks at jellyfish, I didn’t know what to expect. I had nothing to worry about, they throw a roudy party!
Erin’s first and most important photo request, kissing in front of the fish tank…

Yesterday I shot Kevin and Rachel’s engagement shoot at Whittier Narrows Recreation Area. Kevin and Rachel are one of the cutest couples! They were a bit shy at first, but warmed up to the camera quickly. I can’t wait for their wedding– and the first kiss during the ceremony!

I’m very excited about a new style of album we’re offering! I’m calling it “The Coffee Table Book”– because that’s exactly what it looks like. If you bought a hardcover book with color pictures inside at your local bookstore, this album would look just like that. It’s a 10×10 book that comes with 40 pages and a photo-realistic cover. It’s thin and lightweight. Unlike the leather flush mount albums you’ve already seen at the studio, each page is not a physical photograph, but printed on a press. The starting price is $850. 7×7 copies are also available.

Engagement Shoot – Chris & Kaylene
Last night Chris, Kaylene, and I drove down to Laguna for their engagement shoot. We had such a fun time! We started at Crescent Bay and then drove a couple miles down PCH to downtown Laguna Beach. Kaylene’s comment was that if she wasn’t over her fear of kissing in public, being downtown surrounded by people would cure it!

Steve & Malisa – 9/4

Wedding
Yesterday’s wedding was such a nice affair! Held at Guasti Villa in Ontario, we really were blessed with nice warm weather (but not too warm!) and a cool breeze during the ceremony.
The funny moment of the night was during their slideshow. All the guests were gathered in the courtyard after dinner to watch it, and about halfway through they hit the photos of Steve playing football for USC. Half the guests started doing that finger thing, like a peace sign (forgive my ignorance) while the USC fight song played. It was hilarious!
Steve and Malisa both looked great and had a bridal party to match. Malisa had the girls’ dresses made to fit the various members of the bridal party, including her pregnant matron of honor! One of their ring bearers, only a year and a half old, was adorable in his little tux.
Plus, their theme was green, so how could I not like that? :)

The end of their first dance, in the courtyard.

After the toasts, one of many kisses!

And, Malisa…
