Molly and Sean had a gorgeous wedding at Club 19 at the St. Regis Monarch Beach this past Saturday. With Molly’s flair for vibrant colors and their bridal party’s own rocking personalities, it was a loud party into the night! I particularly enjoyed some of the couple’s music choices– anyone walking the recessional to Queen and entering the reception to Ozzy Osbourne is bound to have a huge party! Molly even treated us to a very accurate dance to “Toxic” towards the end of the night…

I’m finally getting around to posting images from this past weekend’s workshop with Brianna Graham. These were from the first day when we were messing around with studio lighting.

I’m off to Seattle! I’m leaving this afternoon… I haven’t packed yet and have two more appointments, but I’m leaving this afternoon! I’m a bit bummed because it is actually scheduled to rain every day I’m there. I suppose I shouldn’t be surprised!

Anyway, the reason for the trip is to take Brianna Graham’s workshop. Expect great things when I come home because between this weekend and this past Monday, I’ve got some major changes coming!

I don’t think I normally gush, but Shawna and Scott are really cool people. I mean, really great! Plus, they chose to do some very fun stuff for their engagement shoot, so now I like them even more! We started off at Angel Stadium and Manny, our escort, gave us a very informative tour with stops in the opposing team’s locker room, a few suites, and the dugouts. Then we went to pick up Dixie and Kelsey, their also-very-cool dogs. We drove down the street to the park and were blessed with gorgeous light!

My brother-in-law eloped back in January, but the parents threw them a reception last night. I was sort of the photographer but mostly a guest, so I have a few shots, and a few more than that in a slideshow.

Well, what can I say, I’ve been turning albums out like mad this week! I’m almost caught up!

Since the album posts end up being so long, I’m going to cut them to just my favorite spreads with a link to the full design in my brand new gallery/cart.

My dad is coming home tomorrow! As excited and happy as I am, he’s even more so. Today in PT he executed what I think of as “the last step” when he successfully made it from the wheelchair to walker to Mom’s car. After the accident and the original surgery, this was the last thing he had to accomplish before he could come home, so to me… this was it!

He still sometimes says some very silly stuff and can barely remember anything I tell him about my day, and every once in awhile… he actually does something I can capture. It’s the lowly camera phone again, showing you what Dad’s response to feeling hot was.
